Midterms & BF Visit!!

Week 10-11 (3/10 - 3/23)

Tis officially midterm season, unfortunately. Midterms really suck especially since I have two midterms on Saturdays (like why on Saturday). But besides class, and sometimes getting dinner with my friends, my life is pretty routine. Except… my boyfriend is finally coming to Hong Kong!!

Archie, my boyfriend, decided to come up during Mānoa’s spring break, which is great because I missed him. We stayed at BP International, which is located in Jordan, and convenient since it's closer to school than my dorms are. While he was here we explored Langham Place (a mall), went to the markets in Sham Shui Po, went to Victoria Harbor and rode the ferry to Wan Chai, checked out Causeway Bay, the Horse Races, West Kowloon, the Flower Show, ALTO (my favorite bar), and…wait for it… Hong Kong Disneyland!

We had a really great time while he was here, and explored places I’ve never been to before. Hong Kong Disney was also really fun because even though the park was small, the rides were fun, and the wait time was super short (like 5 minutes for Space Mountain). We also got to watch the light and fireworks show, which was super cool since they project images onto the castle and water, and they have music and fireworks to tie it all together. Honestly, I really want to go back, and I definitely recommend going to anyone who has the opportunity.
