Week 2-3 (1/13 - 1/26)

We finally started classes this week! I have classes Monday - Wednesday, with Thursday - Sunday off.

Monday -  Mandarin for Non-Chinese Speakers I (LC2956)

Tuesday -  Financial Management (CB3410); Financial Systems, Markets and Instruments (EF3333)

Wednesday – International Finance (EF4771)

Each class is three hours long, which is kind of rough to be honest, but I know I just need to get used to it. Even the commute to school is longer than what I am used to back home, but so far it's been really smooth, and even though it's around 45 minutes, it feels way faster.

Besides classes and nightly dinner, we went to the rooftop bar ALTO with a member of the exchange club. It was really cute and had great drinks and an amazing view of Kowloon and Victoria Harbor.

But the highlight of these past two weeks was definitely going to the Stray Kids concert in the Asia World Expo Center. I personally don’t think I am a K-pop fan, but I definitely am a Stray Kids fan with Felix as my bias (lol). Anyway, I was lucky enough to get tickets a few months ago and had it shipped to my advisor, Jasmine, and boy, was it worth it. The concert totally exceeded my expectations, and I wish I could see them perform again in the US, but sadly, I’ll still be abroad.

Week 16-17 (4/21 – 5/4) Finals season is upon us here at CityU, and you can see the lack of life in the students (just kidding… kind of)....
